Ian Dela Cruz, RMT
My journey to becoming a massage therapist, like most people, started with myself experiencing the important roles they play. While I was working as a dancer/choreographer, I was in a car accident that left me with severe neck pain from the whiplash that I incurred. The massage therapist I saw was very helpful and after a few sessions I was able to dance again as if nothing happened. I had been wanting to change careers, but wasn’t sure what to pursue. After seeing the benefits that come with being an RMT, both for myself and the many people I could potentially help, I knew it was the right choice.
Soon after deciding on this new career path, I started working for a massage company while studying to get my RMT licence. Fast forward to today and I am happy to say that I love my job and it has so far been exactly what I imagined. I have found a great place to work at Physiomed and have had the opportunity to meet and help many wonderful people. I look forward to learning and advancing my skills for many years to come.
